About the Role Complete Filter Media, LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Shag Driver / Shipping Assistant to support our transportation and shipping operations. This is a hybrid position. The primary responsibility will be operating company trucks to move trailers, finished products, raw materials, and other materials as needed. When there are no driving or shuttling assignments, the employee will work with the shipping team to keep materials moving and help with daily warehouse and shipping activities. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable driving a manual truck, working in a warehouse environment, operating a forklift, and jumping in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly. What You'll Be DoingShag Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to move trailers, finished goods, raw materials, and other materials between company locations and designated areas.
• Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading positions.
• Transport materials and finished products safely and on schedule.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain required driving logs and electronic records.
• Use electronic logging systems and other company equipment as required.
• Complete required loading and unloading information in the company system.
• Verify delivery and transportation instructions.
• Report accidents, vehicle defects, safety concerns, or violations immediately.
• Maintain a clean and safe truck and work area.
• Follow all company procedures regarding vehicle operation, loading, unloading, and safety. Shipping Assistant Responsibilities When driving assignments are not available, assist the Shipping Department with daily operations, including:
• Stage, prepare, and load finished products for shipment.
• Unload incoming deliveries and properly store materials.
• Move materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Operate motorized forklifts safely.
• Clear production lines and move finished materials as needed.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Help maintain an organized and clean shipping area.
• Communicate with production, shipping, and management to keep materials moving efficiently.
• Assist with additional warehouse and production-related tasks as needed.
• Stay productive and ready to assist with other assignments when driving duties are complete. What We're Looking For
• Valid CDL with the appropriate class and endorsements required for assigned equipment.
• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to safely operate a manual transmission. Our trucks are not automatic.
• Good driving record with no recent serious moving violations.
• Knowledge of applicable DOT rules and regulations.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift or willingness to complete forklift training.
• Ability to use electronic equipment, GPS, ELDs, and other computer-based systems.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company software.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
• Ability to push, pull, drag, and lift 50+ pounds when performing shipping and warehouse duties.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, dust, and noise.

Work Environment This position works both on the road and inside the manufacturing/shipping facility. The warehouse and manufacturing environment may include varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment. Safety is a top priority.
