Role Description The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina area. This role is responsible for accurately receiving incoming materials, verifying documentation, and inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies. The specialist prepares outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and staging products in line with company standards and customer requirements, while maintaining clean and organized shipping and receiving areas. Daily tasks include unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, updating inventory records, and coordinating with production, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure materials flow smoothly through the facility. This role also assists in cycle counts, monitors inventory levels, and follows all safety and compliance procedures. Qualifications Proficiency in core warehouse operations, including Shipping & Receiving and Unloading. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment, including Forklift Operation. Experience with Packing and handling of parts and assemblies to prevent damage and ensure accuracy. Skill in Inventory Control, including documenting receipts, adjustments, and cycle counts. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally supporting OEM or production operations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to follow standardized procedures. Comfort using basic computer systems or warehouse software for tracking shipments and inventory. Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to PPE requirements and safe lifting practices. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and purchasing teams. High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics, warehouse, or forklift certifications are a plus. 1st Shift
