Job Description

Lead Shipping & Receiving Job Responsibilities:
This position is more inclined on computer-based ERP system operations and rest on forklift/roll-clamp based. Utilize computerized ERP system (Oracle - JD Edwards) to prepare and generate documents for all shipments.
This includes:
bill of lading, packing slip, CofA, and commercial invoice. Lead cycle counts for the site on raw materials and finished goods monthly and ensuring perfect accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis leaning on site ERP system. Coordinate inventory control processes with corporate Planning and Accounting departments. Verify raw material requirements and align inventory with production planner and schedules. Manage packaging supplies at site. Ensuring timely ordering and re-stocking. Processing shipping documents and preparing BOL'S while maintaining accuracy of all records. Uphold a safe and organized work environment, while leading by example in safety within the department. Provide directions for warehouse personnel in incoming & outgoing material whilst maintaining an organized warehouse which is system based. Act as backup to the Logistics Coordinator while in their absence and able to lead the S&R department.
Lead Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma /GED OR 8+ years of relevant Shipping & Receiving experience Must have previous forklift or roll-clamp operating experience and be comfortable transporting material in excess of 6000 lbs. Must have good experience in using computers - Clerical skills consisting of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or other) (computer and scan-gun based), Email, and Microsoft Excel Employee must frequently get in and out of forklift/roll-clamp, stand, sit, crouch, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. Superior attention to detail and ability to multi-task efficiently under pressure. Detailed knowledge of materials flow, shipping and receiving functions (both inbound and out bound) in a fast-moving environment. •Please note: The above statements are designed to outline the functions and position requirements of this job.
