Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our client's team in Liberty, SC. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods and parts orders. Pull, pack, and prepare inventory based on customer orders. Schedule pickups with LTL carriers. Process shipments through ground carriers. Load shipments onto trucks safely and efficiently. Ensure orders are packed securely to prevent damage during transit. Verify the accuracy and quality of customer orders before shipment. Complete and maintain shipping records and required documentation. Communicate with the Sales team regarding order updates and changes. Work with management and vendors to resolve shipping delays or issues. Identify and report warehouse equipment problems. Assist in other warehouse functions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements. Help maintain a safe workplace by identifying and reporting potential hazards. Use warehouse tools and equipment safely and maintain equipment properly. Immediately report workplace injuries or illnesses to management and Human Resources. Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions. Comply with all company policies and standard operating procedures. Support the company's goals, mission, and core values. Meet departmental and individual performance objectives. Requirements 1 or more years Forklift experience and warehouse shipping, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. Knowledge of LTL and ground shipping processes. Experience pulling, packing, and loading customer orders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to maintain accurate shipping documentation. Basic computer skills and experience with shipping systems are a plus. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
