Franklin Zellers Description The Maintenance Mechanic performs diversified duties regarding the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment for Reliable. Key Responsibilities Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex and high precision numerical control machine tools Assists in developing continuous improvement actions through use of TPM/TPR concepts Rebuilds and overhauls components such as gear boxes, tool changers, cylinders, index units, motors, and pumps when applicable and necessary Inspects, repairs, and replaces hydraulic and pneumatic system components such as pumps, valves, regulators, cylinders, and lines Troubleshoots and replaces electrical devices such as contactors, input/output cards, solenoids, etc. Performs tasks to ensure proper response and operational functions such as preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and offline testing of components Works closely with Reliable personnel and contractors on the installation of new machines, rebuilding, overhauling, and difficult repairs Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor. Performs other duties as directed Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Associates Degree in Mechatronics and/or Related Field 5+ years of diversified machining and repair work Well versed with CNC, electronic control apparatus and machine tool operations, drives, and controls Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean concepts, TPM, and TPR Must be a team player, detail oriented, and strong communication skills Job Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and FSA are available the 1st of the month following your start date 401k with company match is available 1st of the month after 90 days of employment Company-provided Life Insurance and AD&D are provided 1st of the month after 90 days of employment at no cost to you 3 PTO days after 60 days of employment (hourly and non-exempt positions only) 2 weeks of vacation after 6 months of employment 10 paid holidays - including your birthday!
