Pay $16 Hr Shift 8am-5pm Monday - Friday Must be okay working in non climate environment! Must be able to lift 45lbs. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our logistics and warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining high standards of packaging and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse management skills, experience with shipping logistics, and a commitment to timely and accurate order processing. This position plays a vital role in supporting our distribution operations and delivering excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities Carefully pack and prepare orders using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and organize inventory Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software for order picking, stock management, and shipment processing Verify order accuracy through picking & packing procedures, ensuring correct items and quantities are shipped Manage shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping labels, and tracking shipments Maintain compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws during export or import processes Assist with inventory stocking, cycle counts, and stock replenishment to support efficient warehouse distribution Follow safety protocols when operating forklifts and other heavy machinery to prevent accidents Support the documentation process for trade compliance and export documentation as required Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize workflow efficiency and improve overall shipping logistics Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment, and inventory management systems Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms Understanding of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately Hands-on experience with order picking & packing, load & unload operations Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes is advantageous Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to efficient warehouse operations while developing their expertise in shipping logistics.
