Description:
The Repacking & Shipping Associate is responsible for the final preparation of completed apparel orders before they leave the facility. This position repacks garments following embroidery, screen printing,or other decoration processes, organizes completed orders, and prepares them for shipment, delivery, or customer pickup. Because this position handles orders at the final stage of production, attention to detail, organization, and accuracy are essential. The Repacking & Shipping Associate helps ensure every order leaving our warehouse is complete, neatly presented, and prepared according to customer and company expectations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Repack completed garments after embroidery, screen printing, or other decoration processes. Fold, organize, and package apparel neatly and consistently. Match completed garments to the appropriate order and packing information. Count and verify quantities by size, style, and color while repacking orders. Ensure all pieces of an order are accounted for before the order is released for shipment, delivery, orpickup. Watch for obvious decoration issues, damaged garments, incorrect items, or other discrepanciesand bring concerns to the appropriate team member before packing the order. Follow any customer-specific packing, sorting, labeling, or distribution instructions included with theorder. Package completed orders using appropriate boxes, bags, or other packing materials. Prepare and organize orders for shipment, local delivery, or customer pickup. Apply shipping labels and ensure packages are matched to the correct customer and order. Maintain organized areas for orders awaiting repacking, completed orders, and orders ready toleave the facility. Communicate missing items, quantity discrepancies, or other concerns promptly so issues can beresolved before the order leaves Common Threads. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient repacking and shipping workspace. Keep commonly used packing materials and supplies organized and notify management whensupplies need to be replenished. Assist with sorting, moving, and organizing apparel or completed orders as needed. Work with production and office team members to help completed orders move efficiently throughthe final stages of the process. Assist with other production, packing, or facility tasks as needed. Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to count and organize apparel accurately by size, style, color, and order. Ability to follow written instructions and order paperwork. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Dependable and able to maintain consistent productivity throughout the workday. Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with other team members. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality. Previous apparel, production, packing, shipping, or warehouse experience is preferred but notrequired. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the workday. Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and move apparel and packaged orders. Ability to perform repetitive folding, sorting, counting, packing, and labeling tasks. Ability to safely lift and move boxes associated with apparel orders. Ability to work comfortably in a production environment.
