Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire About the Opportunity Our client is hiring a Shipping Clerk to support its shipping and receiving department in Wellford, SC. This position is responsible for coordinating and processing daily outbound freight, including LTL shipments and small-parcel orders shipped through UPS and FedEx. The ideal candidate will have previous shipping, logistics, warehouse-clerical, or order-processing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy and organization are essential. What You'll Do Process daily outbound LTL shipments using paperwork received from multiple departments Schedule LTL freight pickups and coordinate outgoing shipments Process outbound UPS and FedEx parcel shipments Prepare and process Zoro customer shipments Print and apply accurate shipping labels to outgoing packages Review shipping information and paperwork for accuracy Maintain organized shipping records and documentation Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of speed and accuracy Identify opportunities to streamline and improve shipping processes Keep the workstation and surrounding shipping area clean and organized Follow all company safety procedures and use required safety equipment Report damaged or defective tools and equipment to the appropriate supervisor Assist with other shipping and receiving responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For Previous experience in shipping, logistics, order fulfillment, or a related warehouse-clerical role is preferred Experience processing LTL freight and UPS or FedEx shipments is strongly preferred Omega TMS experience is a plus Comfortable using computers, shipping systems, and basic office equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation Ability to manage multiple outgoing shipments and changing priorities Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently with limited supervision Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment Why Join?
