Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic bakery distribution team as a Bakery Bagging/Distribution associate! In this utility role, you will be responsible for efficiently bagging, packaging, and preparing bakery products for distribution while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will help streamline the order fulfillment process, support inventory management, and maintain smooth deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering fresh bakery goods to customers with precision and care. Duties Load, unload, and transport bakery products within the warehouse Slicing (commercial slicer) and bagging of bread products for distribution to over 20 stores, including our on-site retail outlet. Assist in inventory management by stock replenishment, stock rotation, and conducting regular inventory counts. Assist dough making, packaging sweet treats, cleaning commercial mixers and dough bins and bread pans Help with running the point of sale (POS) terminal and assisting customers with purchases. Backing up delivery drivers as necessary. Clean driving record required. Skills Ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory tracking Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safety and ergonomic practices during heavy lifting and materials handling Familiarity with shipping & receiving protocols, safety regulations, and PPE use in a warehouse environment Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced setting Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Days/Hours Monday-Friday 12:00PM-8:30PM (30-minute lunch), two paid 15-minute breaks. Join us in delivering excellence throughout East Tennessee and SW Virginia!
