The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in various shipping activities to ensure that goods are shipped in a timely and efficient manner. They are tasked with packing, loading, and unloading goods, checking for damages, and helping maintain an organized and clean shipping area. 2nd and 3rd Shift (12am- Complete)

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

Assist in packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare them for shipment. Count, Load and unload goods from delivery trucks, verifying that they match the accompanying shipping documents. Check items for damage and take corrective action when necessary, such as notifying supervisors or documenting issues. Maintain cleanliness and order in the shipping area, adhering to safety regulations. Operate equipment such as modified hand truck, dolly, and pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse. Assist in taking inventory and in the documentation of shipping and receiving activities. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies related to shipping and handling of goods. Support the shipping team and other departments to ensure the effective operation of the organization.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience (6+ months) in a warehouse or shipping role. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks, dollies and pallet jacks Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and stand for prolonged periods. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Capable of performing basic math skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
