Shipping Associate - Wood Manufacturing Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work? We're looking for a Shipping Associate to join our production team and play a key role in the final stage of our manufacturing process. In this position, you'll help ensure our finished wood products are properly prepared, packaged, and shipped according to customer requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform final sanding, planing, or finishing of wood pieces to ensure smooth and consistent surfaces. Apply finishes or treatments as required by production specifications. Safely stack, band, and package completed wood products for shipping or storage. Conduct final quality inspections to verify that all materials meet company and customer standards. Label, organize, and prepare finished goods for shipment or warehouse placement. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist with restocking materials and supplies. Follow all safety and production protocols to ensure efficient workflow. Work closely with team members to achieve daily shipping and production targets.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and accuracy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment . Previous experience in shipping, wood finishing, or packaging preferred but not required. Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Physically able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
