POSITION SUMMARY
Demonstrates Goodwill's Core Values through actions and behaviors. Identify and select donated products for internet sales, thoroughly examine each product to determine the correct condition, manufacturer and other pertinent criteria, take detailed, clear and appropriate photos, write concise, appealing and accurate descriptions necessary to list items available to maximize Goodwill sales and profit margins, and assist in shipping and pulling sold items.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • No experience required
  • Retail experience, knowledge of jewelry and/or computer experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFIC SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge of merchandise value such as jewelry, musical instruments, antiques, etc.
  • Ability to research utilizing computer databases
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Must be able to recognize numbers
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Standing, bending, stooping, twisting and walking required
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Sort and process merchandise into appropriate locations. (E)
  • Receive, sort and place materials or items on pre-production inventory shelving.
  • Assist in managing overall inventory and inventory data sheets. (E)
  • Maintain system for record keeping and tracking data as required by supervisor. (E)
  • Receive and process items in a timely manner. (E)
  • Visually inspect and separate items by category. (E)
  • Create a detailed description of item for posting online. (E)
  • Photograph each item for listing. (E)
  • Post item for sale. (E)
  • Categorize merchandise in appropriate storage area. (E)
  • Respond to inquiries about listings. (E)
  • Keep area clean and clear of hazards.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies, procedures & practices.
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Suggest changes to increase the efficiency of department.
  • Communicate appropriately with coworkers and customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Pay:
From $11.00 per hour
