Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Logistics Coordinator to support our boiler manufacturing operations. This is primarily an office-based position responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate shipping and inventory records, and working closely with production, purchasing, vendors, and freight carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling freight and preparing shipping documentation. Process receiving paperwork, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system. Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure efficient material flow and timely customer deliveries. Resolve shipping discrepancies, track shipments, and assist with inventory control. Occasionally assist with warehouse activities, including inspecting shipments and operating a forklift as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of shipping, receiving, logistics, or administrative experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
