SHIPPING
& RECEIVINGMonday - Thursday 7:00 am- 5:30 pm$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONSReceive incoming materials, parts, supplies, and equipment; verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation.

Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for correct quantities, damage, and accuracy, and report any discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.

Prepare finished fabricated products, parts, and materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, staging, and completing required shipping documentation.

Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, or other material-handling equipment as required.

Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records and ensure materials are properly identified, organized, and stored in designated areas.

Coordinate with production, purchasing, and delivery personnel to ensure materials are received and customer orders are shipped accurately and on schedule.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred.

Ability to operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment safely; forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.

Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, work orders, shipping documents, part numbers, and basic measurements.

Basic computer and data-entry skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.

Ability to safely lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and work in an active metal fabrication/manufacturing environment while following all safety and PPE requirements. #psbrownood
