Overview Staff Sense is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your warehouse expertise to support seamless warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proactive approach will help us maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and shipping excellence. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems and RF scanners. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation for both domestic and international deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software. Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing warehouse distribution areas to optimize space utilization. Perform data entry tasks related to order fulfillment, shipment tracking, and inventory updates with attention to detail. Support warehouse operations by participating in order picking & packing processes, ensuring timely order fulfillment for customers. Computer Savvy Skills Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, and warehouse distribution practices. Ability to operate sit down forklift, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Excellent organizational skills with experience in data entry and inventory tracking. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating shipment weights or volumes accurately. Customer service orientation to assist internal teams or external carriers with shipping inquiries or issues. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members across various warehouse functions. Experience in stocking, packaging, order picking & packing, load & unload operations within a busy warehouse environment.
