Personnel Clerk - Deer Park, TX Bay Ltd. - 3.7 Deer Park, TX Job Details Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Personnel Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the Personnel department. This role involves handling employee records and documentation and assisting with various functions to ensure smooth and efficient personnel operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Familiarity with office processes to be able to assist Recruiters during high volume hiring Handle the electronic storage of employee records, ensuring that all digital files are accurately filed, securely stored, and easily retrievable in compliance with company policies and requirements. Review employee records for accuracy and compliance with Company policies, relevant laws, and regulations including confidentiality and data protection requirements. Fulfill requests for employee records, making sure to follow Department policy. Provide excellent customer service to all candidates and internal/external customers Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies while promoting company's safety culture Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree Preferred Preferred experience in industrial and heavy construction industry Driver's License
SKILLS / KEY COMPETENCIES
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and employees at all levels. Ability to read and interpret polices, guidelines, and task requirements. Must be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent time-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities. Ability to work under pressure to meet department targets and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) Must be able to work non-routine hours (nights and weekends), when necessary especially during high volume hiring. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability and willingness to travel as required for out-of-town recruiting engagements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting and/or standing constantly Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one place to another. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity. Ability to safely and efficiently go up and down stairs Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
