Packing and Shipping Associate Job Summary:
The Packing and Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, labeling, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. This role ensures customer orders are processed correctly, inventory is handled safely, and shipments meet company quality and delivery standards. Key Responsibilities Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications. Inspect products for quality and accuracy before shipment. Prepare shipping labels and shipping documentation. Operate shipping systems and carrier software (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.). Verify package contents against packing slips and purchase orders. Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records. Ensure packages are properly secured to prevent damage during transit. Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, packing, or shipping experience preferred. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Basic computer and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good time management and organizational skills. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
