Full Job Description Description:
The Shipping & Receiving position is responsible for coordinating daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials and products.
Responsibilities not limited to:
Shipping & Receiving Coordination Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities. Communicate with the Production and Warehouse Supervisors regarding shipping schedules, deadlines, deliveries, and related issues. Shipping Review order documentation, including part numbers and quantities. Prepare, package, label, and expedite shipments. Complete required shipping and freight documentation. Rate shipments and arrange carrier pickups. Maintain adequate inventory of shipping materials. Maintain accurate daily and weekly shipping schedules. Receiving Coordinate the unloading, inspection, and routing of incoming shipments. Inspect deliveries for damage and shortages and document discrepancies. Reject damaged items and coordinate resolution with suppliers and carriers. Process defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills and ability to use shipping software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and coordinate shipments in a fast-paced environment. English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs. unassisted. Work is performed in a manufacturing/machine shop environment. Ability to work additional hours as needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or
GED. 1-3
