In this role, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the accurate receipt of goods. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and operate equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts, with training provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in warehouse operations within a dynamic environment. Duties Unload trucks efficiently and safely, ensuring all incoming shipments are received accurately. Assist in verifying and recording received inventory against purchase orders or shipping documents. Operate overhead cranes to move large or heavy items, with training provided on proper safety procedures and operation techniques. Operate forklifts to facilitate the movement of goods within the warehouse. Perform basic math calculations to verify quantities and measurements during receiving processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and inventory updates. Requirements Basic math skills necessary for verifying quantities and measurements. Willingness to learn how to operate overhead cranes; training will be provided. Willingness to learn forklift operation; training will be provided. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and unloading heavy items safely. Attention to detail for accurate recording of received goods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Prior experience in warehouse or receiving roles is a plus but not required.
