Supply Receiving and Inventory Clerk Surlean Foods - 3.2 San Antonio, TX Job Details 10 hours ago Qualifications Basic math Full Job Description SUMMARY Responsible for acting in accordance with the policies set forth in the current procedures manual. Receives, inventories, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the company Supply warehouse by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pay close attention to detail. Exhibits ability to utilize CMMS software efficiently to receive daily deliveries. Communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and electronically through email. Ensuring the warehouse is clean and accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic. Manages time efficiently. Always organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness. Wearing the proper safety equipment. Other duties as assigned. Collaborate with Supply Clerks on the need to expedite expected deliveries and items missing from inventory. Receive shipments and properly label each with Purchase Order Number, Work Order date of receipt and the attention-to name or Production Room. Physically receive and collect packages to bring to Supply. Inspect contents for accuracy and ensure they are free from damage. Communicate with shipper and/or supplier when a mistake in a delivery is identified. Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements. Label returns and allocates them to their designated place. Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via current CMMS system. Maintain accurate records and assist inventory control. Occasional use of forklift and pallet jack.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
