JOB SUMMARY
At USA Industries, we're seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our dynamic team. In this integral role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of our operations by meticulously preparing, processing, and packaging outgoing shipments. Upholding the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency will be your primary focus as you navigate our fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is paramount in our fast-paced environment, where you'll be expected to meticulously handle every aspect of the shipping process. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will prioritize safety protocols and precision to ensure that order shipment deadlines are consistently met. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Process, package, and prepare shipments using various carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and more. Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others. Verify and ship orders and parts with precision and timeliness, utilizing scales, tape measures, and calipers to ensure accuracy. Perform basic PC tasks including email correspondence, uploading pictures, scanning documents, and navigating ERP software. Produce, print, and apply labels and shipping documentation accurately, adhering to specific requirements. Maintain a well-organized shipping area to enhance safety and efficiency in operations. Foster effective communication with team members and other departments to streamline processes and address any issues promptly. Utilize UPS and FedEx software proficiently to generate labels and documents, ensuring seamless shipping processes. Schedule pickups with freight couriers to facilitate timely dispatch of shipments. Monitor orders to ensure accuracy of orders. Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other areas and performing additional tasks as required. Identify opportunities for process improvements in shipping procedures, suggesting, and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity. Assist in training new hires on material handling procedures, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively. Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime, and be available for on-call duties as needed. Execute various tasks, as assigned by your manager, supervisor, or company officer, whether within your standard duties or as requested beyond regular responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education, certification, or experience in logistics or related field a plus. Work Experience 1 - 2+ years of shipping or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Skills Proficient PC skills (email, scan & upload documents, internet, Microsoft Office, etc.), including warehouse management and inventory software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, other departments, and customers. Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification. Utilize tools for measurements and counting (tape measure, weight & count scales, etc.). Proficient in multitasking, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities concurrently. Willingness to work weekends and overtime hours, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules. Available for on-call duty as scheduled, demonstrating readiness to respond to work-related needs outside of regular hours. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull. Continuous standing and/or walking. Moderate physical effort- working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights. Good eye/hand/foot coordination. Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
