This position follows customer and company documentation to ensure products are packaged and shipped according to specific requirements, coordinates with freight carriers and customers, and maintains accurate shipping records. The role also requires regular use of QuickBooks and carrier websites such as UPS, FedEx, and other freight services. Because this position includes company driving, a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. Key Responsibilities Package and prepare products for shipment according to customer and company requirements. Follow shipping documentation, packing instructions, and project requirements to ensure products are packaged correctly. Verify orders, quantities, labels, and shipping information before products leave the facility. Schedule shipments and create shipping labels through UPS, FedEx, and other freight carrier websites. Coordinate with freight companies and customers regarding pickups, deliveries, and shipping requirements. Enter and maintain accurate shipping information in QuickBooks and other company systems. Organize outgoing shipments and ensure packages are ready for scheduled pickups. Assist with loading and unloading shipments and maintaining an organized shipping area. Communicate shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies to the appropriate team members. Drive company vehicles as needed to deliver or pick up materials and products. Perform other shipping, receiving, and warehouse-related duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record . Ability to communicate professionally in English with customers, freight companies, and coworkers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed documentation and shipping instructions. Strong communication and follow-through. Comfortable using computers and learning new software and websites. Experience with QuickBooks, UPS, FedEx, or other freight/shipping platforms is preferred. Ability to work independently while also working effectively with a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Previous shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
