Shipping and Receiving Assistant (Entry Level)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented shipping and receiving assistant to support daily warehouse and office operations. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates who are organized, reliable, enjoy doing a variety of tasks that keep you on your feet and moving about the warehouse all day. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, stocking and organizing products, palletizing and creating outgoing shipments and assisting with reorders of purchased goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate data entry of inventory counts, product information, and purchase records Assist with receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing incoming goods Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure correct quantities and identify discrepancies Help monitor inventory levels and prepare reorder request s for low-stock items Update inventory databases and spreadsheets with current stock levels Communicate with warehouse staff and supervisors regarding inventory needs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area Support general warehouse needs. Create boxes and prepare outgoing shipments. Able to be on your feet all day, climb safety ladders, stack, sort, and move boxes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Basic computer skills; familiarity with spreadsheets/data entry preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication Excellent organizational skills Ability to lift and move boxes or products as required Able to work full time between the hours 8am-4:30pm
