Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack orders using barcode scanning technology and order picking systems to ensure accuracy. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage or safety hazards. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, updating inventory management systems, and performing cycle counts. Prepare orders for shipping by packaging products securely according to quality standards and safety protocols. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and adherence to warehouse safety protocols. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including barcode scanning for logistics tracking and documentation. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners confidently. Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, inventory management, and quality control. Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying shipment details accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling practices. Prior experience with warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus but not required. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
