Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk/Auditor to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for verifying incoming shipments, auditing inventory accuracy, inspecting products for quality and damage, and ensuring all receiving documentation is completed accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where attention to detail is critical. Responsibilities Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Inspect products for damage, defects, and quantity discrepancies Audit received inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards Accurately enter receiving information into inventory and warehouse management systems Identify and report inventory discrepancies and receiving issues Work closely with warehouse, inventory, and purchasing teams to resolve shortages or overages Maintain organized receiving records and documentation Ensure products are properly labeled and routed to appropriate warehouse locations Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous receiving, inventory control, warehouse, auditing, or logistics experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office Ability to read and interpret packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties Comfortable working in a warehouse environment 1st shift, 7am - 5:30pm, Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed which could include Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
