Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Working directly with Truckers and Customers. Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Becomes proficient in the use of the company software, SAGE. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintains an accurate log sheet and archiving of all shipping and receiving. Engages with vendors and truck drivers with a positive attitude Provides additional backup support for other plant operations Work with Logistics Analyst regarding purchase order entries Sample raw materials. Lift, climb, and sample Raw materials. (Able to climb 5+feet) Check every shipment before discharge. (Climb in/out of every truck (4ft). Accurately count pallets and check for correct product)
Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills:
Maintain inventory of Office supplies and PPE Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area. Good written and verbal communication skills, in person and over the phone Strong sense of time organization and urgency Be familiar with and proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and other computer programs as needed Be familiar with operating a printer/copier Able to work independently and within a team Must be able to lift 50+ pounds multiple times as needed. Other duties as assigned or directed.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred 6 months of logistics, retail, or customer service experience.
