JOB SUMMARY
Polhemus is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, tracking inventory movements, and helping keep materials and products moving smoothly through the facility. In addition to the core role, this position will also support the manufacturing team in various capacities such as electronics assembly. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. (flex time available) You will play a key role in delivering magnetic tracking solutions to some of the biggest names in tech, healthcare, aerospace, and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips Support quality and production objectives Conduct quality inspections on products and parts Prepare finished products for shipment Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and staging products accurately Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment to support timely fulfillment Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits as needed Work with production and warehouse team members to improve workflow and accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience with Shipping & Receiving, order fulfillment Care and attention to details such as packing process and procedures Computer skills to work with shipping carrier web services, email, & MRP system Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team Desire and willingness to learn and take on new tasks We will train you for our work-tasks
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with fine wire soldering Hands-on work or hobby experience
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
