Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity near Auburn, WA. This role is ideal for an experienced logistics, warehouse, or distribution professional who enjoys coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with carriers, drivers, vendors, customers, and internal warehouse teams. The Shipping and Receiving Associate will play a key role in keeping materials, inventory, and customer shipments moving accurately and efficiently. - Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for inbound materials and outbound customer shipments.
- Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Lading, packing slips, shipping labels, receiving documents, and shipment records.
- Communicate with carriers, truck drivers, vendors, customers, and warehouse teams to resolve shipment, delivery, and documentation issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions, data entry, shipment tracking, and receiving records.
- Assist with loading, unloading, staging, material movement, and general warehouse support as needed.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and support efficient, organized shipping and receiving operations. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year.

Location:
Auburn, WA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Coordinate inbound receiving and outbound shipping activity in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and process Bills of Lading and related shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment tracking, data entry, and receiving documentation.
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, customers, and internal teams to support timely and accurate deliveries.
- 3 to 5 years of shipping and receiving experience.
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and inventory control procedures.
- Experience preparing packing slips, labels, receiving documents, shipment records, and Bills of Lading.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assist with loading, unloading, staging, and general warehouse support as needed.
- Commitment to following warehouse safety policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification strongly preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, inventory management, or shipping software systems.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
