We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse and logistics team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying orders, completing shipping documents, and ensuring products are accurately packed and shipped on time. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, carriers, and customers. Responsibilities Prepare, process, and verify outgoing shipments Confirm product quantities, shipping addresses, and order information Create shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required documents Schedule pickups and coordinate shipments with carriers and delivery drivers Inspect packages for damage and ensure items are packed securely Update shipment information in inventory or warehouse management systems Track shipments and assist with resolving delivery delays or discrepancies Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation Communicate with warehouse, receiving, inventory, and customer service teams Assist with loading, unloading, packing, and other warehouse duties when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety procedures and shipping regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred Basic computer and data-entry skills Familiarity with shipping software, scanners, and warehouse management systems is a plus Ability to read shipping documents and verify order details Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift packages during the workday Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation Work Environment This position is performed primarily in a warehouse or distribution environment. Employees may work around moving equipment, delivery vehicles, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels.

Pay:

$25.10 - $30.20 per hour
