Parts Department Associate:
Are you looking to transition from an assembly role or retail environment into a role with increased scope and opportunity to broaden your skillset? We are seeking a Parts Department Associate to join our team and help lead the marine world with innovative waterjet solutions while delivering future ready technology for a water-connected world. As a Parts Department Associate, you will be responsible for receiving shipments and assisting Inside Sales team members with inquiries at your desk as needed.
Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving and verifying incoming purchase orders/shipments, assist with light troubleshooting via phone or email, collaborates with Inside Sales manager and representatives to sustain maintainable workload while identifying growth areas.
Responsibilities:
Answer distributor and customer inquiries via phone/email as needed. Provide customer and distributor quotes through the ERP system based on pricing and availability. Collaborate with the department manager to develop call lists for proactive customer outreach. Call customers to maintain positive relationships and/or call new potential customers. Receiving and putting away stock. Receive and handle all materials sent for service, notifying Service Managers upon receipt. Assembling Part Orders. Shipping Assistant-learn shipping system for domestic and international shipments Keep warehouse organized and clean Receiving / warehousing of all goods into stock. Maintenance of accurate product locations. Conduct weekly cycle counts. Assist in packaging and processing of customer shipments. General warehouse housekeeping duties. Perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Basic mechanical and/or electrical understanding
Skills and Abilities:
Fluent in English Ability to read and interpret factory technical/mechanical drawings Familiarity with Company policies, processes, and procedures Efficiently monitor and manage open customer orders and inventory levels Conduct cycle counts as required by the manager Proficient in using ERP systems for order processing and tracking This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate inventory management.
