The Shipping and Receiving Clerk handles incoming and outgoing packages in the production facility. Job duties include tracking inventory, keeping accurate records, packaging, and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments. This position will work Monday - Friday on an 8-hour first shift scheduleBenefits:

Responsibilities:
- Determines method and mode of shipment to customer requirements.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Prepares and expedites shipments: determines labeling requirements, assembles and packs product containers, prepares and affixes shipping labels, prepares shipping documents, posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage.
- Create packing slips and invoices.
- Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Operates lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials.
- Load/unload trucks.
- Answer customer or sales questions on shipment and tracking information.
- Assist other departments as necessary (material handling, assembly, etc.)
- Responsible for own personal safety, the safety of the team and those around you.
- Work in accordance with and enforce compliance with all BTG policies (ex: Safety, Code of Ethics, Commercial Policy, Security Policy and Export Compliance) to maintain BTG reputation and image.
