Full Job Description Overall Job Objective:
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing and executing the daily operations related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management within the warehouse. This role ensures the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, verifies orders, inspects goods, and organizes products for efficient storage and retrieval. The Shipping and Receiving Associate plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, adhering to safety standards, and supporting the logistics team to ensure smooth warehouse operations. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong organizational skills to meet company goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick orders for the Assembly team by priority Receive parts and put away as directed Ship orders out per customer's required dates Cycle count Utilize forklift to unload and move skids Follow safety standards Maintain efficient productivity requirements Stage completed carts in their designated areas Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment Other duties when needed
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma Mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, measure, and compute basic equations Ability to read and interpret reports and work instructions Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other lifting equipment. On-site training is provided. Ability to operate hand tools and measuring devices Ability to lift 50 pounds Benefits Included in
