Parts Processing, Washing & Shipping

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fill and ship orders listed in a software (Plex) program; assemble cartons from flattened state; wrap protective material around product; obtain and sort products; record product movement in software (Plex); wash parts using parts washer; weight count parts, and pack; load orders onto trucks using forklift; clean packing containers; unload material from trucks; records, labels, arranges and stack material; label boxes and materials; record purchase orders received; receive/ship packages using UPS; basic shipping and receiving duties. Qualifications:

Ability to operate a fork lift. Computer skills to enter data, save, print, and retrieve records. Math skills, adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English Operate parts washer and tumbler Ability to communicate ideas to others for machining or designing.

Physical Abilities:

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Constant standing or walking Frequent lifting, bending, stretching, reaching Wear safety-toed shoes Exposed to high noise levels Exposed to physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts Exposure to nuisance dust and skin exposure to cutting and drawing oils The environment is not air-conditioned.
