A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.

Hours:

2:30pm

•10:30pm, Monday

Friday Pay Rate:

$19.10 + $2.50 shift premium = $21.35 per hour Packs and prepares products for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products. Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in ERP system. Supports goals and continued improvement of PDC. Prepare appropriate documentation for shipments. Ownership of basic 5S and housekeeping for area. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Receives instruction, guidance, and direction for production. Meets picking and packing expectations. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments for non-conformity and escalates to appropriate leadership. Performs routine assignments. Demonstrates responsibility for attendance, quality, and attention to detail. Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Uses company equipment and materials properly. Strives to increase productivity. Approaches others in a tactful manner, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position. Accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments. Participate in team meetings and exchange job related information.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent 0-2 years of experience. Detail oriented and organized.

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25

•50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
