We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our logistics operations from preparing accurate shipping documents to hands-on product prep and coordination with our shipping team. In this vital role, you will coordinate the movement of inventory, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and uphold the highest standards of warehouse operations. Your proactive approach will help us maintain efficient shipping logistics, support customer satisfaction, and keep our supply chain running smoothly. This paid position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about warehouse management and logistics. Responsibilities Work in a safe and responsible manner. Comply with all safety policies and initiatives. Plan and execute shipments, in support of the company's policy and procedures, to meet customer's specification. Ensures accuracy of all shipping documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping activities. Support Logistics initiatives to achieve freight cost reductions, shipping/packing error reduction, and recycling. Prepare shipping documents ensuring accuracy Coordinate and arrange activities to ensure that shipments are scheduled and arrive on time. Enter data into MRP systems in support of Bill of Lading and supplemental documentation. File as appropriate. Prepare product for shipping. Cut and burn tails on braiding. Add metal Ids to harnesses as required, coil harnesses and box them up. Check for proper part number, weigh and ship harnesses. Provide direction to tuck drivers for outbound deliveries as needed.
