A Day in the Life as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, your main responsibility will be assisting in the warehouse with receiving and fulfilment of equipment and parts orders and readying product and parts for shipment.
Duties include:
Parts and product order completion, including fulfillment, packing, shipping, and paperwork completion using handheld barcode scanners Inspection of products received for noticeable damage or quality issues Stocking inventory shelves with incoming equipment and parts receipts Forklift operation and basic maintenance Staging machine orders for shipment Loading/unloading trailers and containers Inventory verification and warehouse organization Crating/uncrating machines, both cardboard and wood slat crates Driving a 26' box truck between warehouse locations as needed What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent 6+ months of prior experience operating a forklift Basic woodworking skills and knowledge/experience in operation of woodworking tools Strong mechanical aptitude Basic math skills Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to work both independently on projects and in a team environment Competitive benefits package for full-time employees: Medical insurance Dental insurance
