This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities Manage the receipt of incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and update stock records. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to load and unload materials safely. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely for delivery. Perform order fulfillment tasks including picking, packing, and labeling items for shipment. Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy in stock levels. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movements throughout the warehouse. Assist with e-commerce order processing as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a focus on shipping & receiving operations. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment processes is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely. Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory management. Experience with packaging, order picking, and loading/unloading shipments. Knowledge of MRP systems is advantageous but not required. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
