This position will have overall responsibility for warehouse operations, transportation and delivery services, inventory control, customer service, facility and fleet management, compliance, and team performance. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who can balance people leadership, customer service, financial performance, safety, and process improvement . This individual will be responsible for developing employees, improving operational efficiencies, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring the facility consistently meets service and performance expectations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader who enjoys taking ownership of an operation and building high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership for daily facility operations, including warehouse, transportation, delivery, inventory, and customer service functions. Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse, driver, and customer service teams while promoting accountability and a positive work environment. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, attendance, employee performance, and productivity to ensure operational needs are consistently met. Establish, monitor, and improve key performance indicators, including on-time deliveries, driver productivity, warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, response times, and other operational metrics. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement processes that increase efficiency, quality, service, and overall operational performance. Oversee inventory control processes, including audits, reconciliations, warehouse organization, space utilization, and inventory accuracy. Manage fleet operations, including preventative maintenance, vehicle condition, fuel usage, maintenance expenses, and vehicle-related procedures. Ensure facilities, equipment, security systems, and operational resources are properly maintained and utilized. Maintain a safe and secure working environment by ensuring compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable operational requirements. Monitor operational expenses and contribute to budgeting, cost-control initiatives, and overall financial performance. Provide professional and responsive customer service while assisting with escalated concerns, special requests, and time-sensitive operational needs. Collaborate with internal departments and senior leadership to achieve operational and organizational objectives. Provide leadership and operational support after hours or on unscheduled workdays when business needs require it. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to support the success of the operation. Qualifications 3-5+ years of operations management or supervisory experience , preferably within warehouse, logistics, transportation, distribution, records management, or a B2B service environment. Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and motivating teams across multiple operational functions. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation, logistics, and process improvement. Experience managing operational KPIs and using performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. P&L, budgeting, or expense-management experience preferred. Strong financial and business acumen. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement effective solutions. Proficiency with computer systems, operational reporting tools, and standard business software. Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable company driving and background requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant management experience will be considered. Ability and willingness to assist with physical operational responsibilities when necessary. Ability to respond to urgent or time-sensitive operational needs as required.
