Full Job Description Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday CH Knight, Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, hands-on Warehouse & Event Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, equipment readiness, inventory management, trailers, fleet maintenance and event support. This position is for someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently and maintains high standards without constant supervision. The successful candidate will spend most of their time working in the warehouse, organizing equipment, maintaining inventory systems, loading trailers, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment is event-ready at all times. This position also participates in event setup, breakdown, travel and event operations as part of the overall role. This is not a desk job. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying organized, improving systems and taking responsibility for operational success. Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse Ensure all equipment is event-ready at all times Organize and maintain warehouse inventory Apply and maintain equipment labels and QR tracking systems Conduct regular inventory audits and inspections Manage warehouse layout and storage systems Ensure carts and equipment are stocked and prepared for upcoming events Identify and resolve operational issues before they become problems Equipment Maintenance Perform preventative maintenance on equipment Repair vinyl armrests and other equipment components Perform light woodworking, fabrication, and repair projects Maintain equipment, carts, accessories, and warehouse assets Monitor equipment condition and coordinate replacement or repair as needed Fleet & Trailer Management Load and unload trailers and box trucks Ability to pull and BACK UP enclosed trailers! Conduct regular trailer inspections Monitor trailer tags, lighting, tires, jacks, brakes and overall condition Maintain company vehicles and equipment to operational standards Ensure vehicles and trailers are prepared for upcoming events Event Operations Participate in event setup and breakdown Work casino party events as needed Travel to event locations throughout the region Assist with loading, transportation, and event logistics Represent the company professionally at client events Required Qualifications Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check Ability to drive box trucks safely and confidently Experience towing, backing, and maneuvering trailers Ability to repeatedly lift 100-150+ pounds Ability to safely move heavy equipment using proper tools and techniques Strong mechanical aptitude Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Experience with woodworking, fabrication, repairs, construction, maintenance, or related trades Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently Ability to identify problems and resolve them without constant supervision Reliable attendance and dependability Strong sense of ownership and accountability Preferred Qualifications Warehouse management experience Inventory management experience Fleet or trailer maintenance experience Experience using inventory tracking systems Experience with QR code tracking systems Upholstery or vinyl repair experience Event operations or logistics experience What Success Looks Like Warehouse remains clean, organized, and efficient Equipment is consistently event-ready Inventory is accurate and easy to locate Trailers and vehicles are properly maintained Event crews can quickly find the equipment they need Preventable equipment failures are minimized Problems are identified and corrected before events occur Tasks are completed without requiring constant supervision Event operations run smoothly and efficiently The warehouse operates effectively even when management is focused elsewhere What We're Looking For This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in organization, likes working with their hands, and enjoys solving problems before they become emergencies.
