Successful candidates will handle the daily management of a warehouse crew. Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and lead a team of dedicated staff. This role is vital in maintaining smooth distribution center functions, implementing process improvements, and ensuring safety compliance across all activities. Duties Lead and manage all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling. Supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment while providing clear managerial communication and leadership. Oversee the operation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems such as AS400 and RF scanners to ensure accuracy. Coordinate logistics activities related to 3PL providers, distribution center operations, and e-commerce fulfillment. Implement lean management principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols during heavy lifting, equipment operation (including forklifts and material handling equipment), and daily tasks. Monitor inventory levels using inventory control techniques, conduct regular audits, and utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, warehouse supervision, or warehouse management roles with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of warehouse distribution, logistics, inventory management systems (including AS400), and materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and lean management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mechanical equipment with mechanical knowledge. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes, 3PL coordination, and e-commerce fulfillment workflows. OSHA certification or knowledge of safety standards applicable to warehouse settings.
