This is more than a logistics job. It's the role that makes sure every Tucson school gets fed, every day, no exceptions, and that the team behind it feels supported, sharp, and proud of the work. As Logistics Manager, you'll build and coach a driver crew, own the details that keep deliveries accurate and on time, and set the tone for how we show up for kids and schools. If you love developing people, take pride in a tight operation, and want your leadership to mean something bigger than a checklist, come lead with us. Nights and weekends off.
Before You Apply:
What to Expect We're upfront so the right people apply and stick around: This is a working leadership role: you will also perform the duties of a Driver/Server, including driving, lifting up to 50 lbs, and time on your feet and in vehicles. Schedule follows operational needs, which typically means early starts aligned with delivery routes. You must be 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record (insurance requirement). Much of your day is detail and compliance work (audits, logs, documentation) alongside coaching drivers in real time. You'll balance leadership, hands-on delivery, and accurate paperwork every day. Is this the right fit? You'll thrive here if you are organized and detail-driven, enjoy developing people, stay calm in a fast-paced operation, and follow tasks through to completion. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and direct the daily driver team, emphasizing safety and service. Train and onboard new drivers; support hiring for logistics roles. Run daily audits of dollies, receiving logs, thermometer logs, and vehicles. Maintain driver logs, vehicle documentation, and compliance records. Also perform Driver/Server duties, including driving and deliveries. Promote an accountable, team-oriented culture aligned with company values. What We're Looking For 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record. Food Handler's Card, or able to obtain within 5 days of hire. Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ DPS), required for school-site access. High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1.5 years of customer-service experience. Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills; detail-oriented and dependable. Bilingual (Spanish/English) and prior training/onboarding experience preferred. Why Join Nutrition One? A leadership role with real ownership and impact. Purpose-driven work supporting Arizona students. Supportive team environment built on our core values. Competitive pay with performance-based growth. If you're ready to lead work that genuinely matters, hit Apply. Let's build something great in Tucson.
