In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse fulfillment, ensuring seamless order processing, inventory accuracy, and efficient distribution. Your leadership will drive process improvements, foster team collaboration, and optimize supply chain workflows to meet demanding customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex logistics functions while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence across the warehouse environment. Duties Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including team management, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high productivity and safety standards. Oversee order fulfillment processes from receipt through shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with customer requirements. Manage inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Coordinate transportation planning and logistics management, including working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and freight carriers such as NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) entities. Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to streamline warehouse operations. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and transportation management systems to monitor performance metrics and optimize workflows. Oversee shipping & receiving activities, production planning, procurement, and materials management to ensure smooth distribution operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational policies across all distribution activities. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a fast-paced distribution environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory management, logistics management, and warehouse operations. Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, transportation management systems, and Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated ability in process management, process improvement initiatives like Lean or continuous improvement methodologies. Skilled in transportation planning, freight coordination, shipping & receiving procedures, and procurement processes. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with demand planning, production planning, inventory control techniques, and distribution management strategies. Supervising experience that highlights team leadership capabilities in a warehouse setting is essential.
