Job Description
Join the Universal Studios Hollywood Retail Warehouse team! We are seeking an experienced Senior Area Manager, Retail Warehouse to lead warehouse and distribution operations supporting one of the world's premier entertainment destinations. This role oversees multiple warehouse locations and is responsible for inventory management, team leadership, operational efficiency, safety, and ensuring products are delivered to our retail locations on time to support an exceptional guest experience. Must-Have Qualifications 8+ years of warehouse and distribution management experience Experience managing large-scale warehouse operations, preferably in retail and/or food distribution Strong leadership experience managing large teams in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, compliance, and operational best practices Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed What You'll Do Lead warehouse operations across multiple locations Manage inventory accuracy, audits, cycle counts, and loss prevention programs Optimize warehouse space, storage, and operational workflows Develop staffing plans and manage labor productivity Coach, mentor, and develop warehouse teams Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and labor regulations Track warehouse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement Partner with retail and operational teams to support business objectives and guest needs Manage budgets, special projects, and operational initiatives Preferred Qualifications Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred, not required) Experience managing multiple warehouse locations Experience leading teams in a 24/7 operational environment Why Universal Studios Hollywood?
