Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of warehouse distribution, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety compliance. Supervise warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and high-performing team. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe and effective movement of goods. Maintain accurate inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems; conduct regular cycle counts and audits. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols; promote a culture of safety awareness across all warehouse activities. Coordinate logistics activities related to shipping & receiving, ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries while managing documentation accurately. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, planning, and communication purposes; prepare operational reports for management review. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution center management with a strong background in warehouse supervision. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication and team leadership skills. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of logistics principles, lean management practices, and process improvement methodologies. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and materials handling best practices.
