The Junior Warehouse Manager Assistant will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to help ensure efficient and accurate warehouse operations. Key areas of responsibility include maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating order processing and fulfillment, supporting shipping and receiving activities, monitoring data accuracy, assisting with warehouse organization, and providing day-to-day guidance to warehouse associates. This position is well suited for a proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and reliable individual who is interested in developing warehouse operations and leadership experience in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Inventory Management:
Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy, conducting routine cycle counts, monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and supporting inventory reconciliation activities.
Data Entry and Order Processing:
Coordinate with warehouse team members to ensure accurate and timely data entry in applicable systems. Support the processing and fulfillment of customer orders and help monitor picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet daily operational and productivity goals.
Receiving and Stocking:
Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities and product information, identifying discrepancies or damaged items, and ensuring products are properly stocked, labeled, and organized.
Order Fulfillment:
Monitor order picking, packing, labeling, and shipping activities to help ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
Warehouse Organization:
Help maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment. Support effective space utilization, product placement, storage, and workflow organization.
Quality Control:
Monitor warehouse processes for compliance with established quality and accuracy standards. Identify, report, and assist in resolving issues that may affect order accuracy, inventory accuracy, or product quality.
Team Coordination:
Support the Warehouse Supervisor with daily work assignments, workload coordination, employee training, and operational guidance. Assist warehouse associates with routine questions and escalate significant issues to warehouse leadership as appropriate.
Inventory and Operations Reporting:
Assist with preparing, maintaining, and updating reports related to inventory levels, order fulfillment, productivity, shipping and receiving activities, discrepancies, and other relevant warehouse metrics.
Logistics Coordination:
Assist with coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, delivery schedules, carrier activities, and other logistics-related tasks as assigned.
Safety Compliance:
Promote compliance with established workplace safety policies, procedures, and practices. Identify and report potential safety hazards and assist warehouse leadership in maintaining a safe working environment.
SOP Development and Maintenance:
Assist with developing, documenting, reviewing, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for routine warehouse operations, workflows, and special assignments to promote consistency, accuracy, safety, and operational efficiency.
Operational Support:
Perform other warehouse operational, administrative, and coordination duties as assigned to support business needs.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, or a similar environment preferred. Previous experience providing team leadership, coordination, training, or supervisory support is a plus. College coursework, vocational training, or certification related to warehouse management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to coordinate multiple warehouse activities and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 , including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Proficiency with Google Workspace , including Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Slides. Ability to learn and effectively use warehouse, inventory, order management, and other applicable business systems. Ability to provide clear instructions and professional guidance to warehouse associates. Reliable, proactive, adaptable, and able to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform duties in a warehouse environment, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and other physical activities as required. Ability to lift, carry, move, and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to perform a combination of administrative, computer-based, and physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience with or working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite , particularly functions related to inventory management, order processing, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations. Previous experience with or working knowledge of Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) , including FBA shipment preparation, inventory coordination, labeling, packaging, shipment creation, and related fulfillment processes. Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment workflows and inventory management systems is a plus.
