Due to our growth, we are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor who can take the organization to the next level. Excellent Communication skills:
In this role you will possess the talent and desire to effectively communicate organizational and customer needs to ensure supply chain issues resolve in a timely fashion. There are many moving parts in a manufacturing environment. Are you a person who manages multiple and competing priorities with a calm and confident nature, for example: maintaining inventory records, including keeping track of which items are running low, ordering new supplies, and monitoring inventory levels simultaneously is part of your daily schedule Ensuring that all procedures for receiving and shipping are followed correctly Managing the shipping department and overseeing employees who work in this department Managing inventory by ordering new supplies as needed, and disposing of obsolete materials Making sure equipment is working properly and ordering repairs when needed Managing inventory records and working with suppliers to ensure that all materials are delivered on time Scheduling deliveries and pickups to ensure they happen on time Coordinating with other departments such as sales, production accounting and procurement to ensure that paperwork is filed correctly Experience in International Shipping and Recieving procedures and protocals specifically with maineland China and Vietnam is highly desirable. Position Requirements:
Five to ten years experience in supply chain and logsitics field preferrably with a technology based company. Has potentially upgraded a shipping and recieving function using knowledge of various ERP and the interest in or experience setting up a QR or barcode warehouse system. Our current is Fishbowl. A steady and stable work history that demonstrates your ability to "stay the course" through organizational change and growth.. An interest in learning about new technologies, professional growth, and improvement by assuming responsibilities, and working as a team member to solve common and shared problems. Supervisory experience in a similar organization.
Education:
Minimum requirements HS diploma or preferrable a certificate in Supply chain Management or Logistics including coursework in the fundamentals of supply chain management, and/or including inventory control.
