Reporting to the Operations Manager the Supervisor, Moving/Delivery Technician will participate and supervise a team of delivery technicians while providing amazing customer service to ensure hot tubs and other home leisure items are delivered effectively and efficiently. As well as, for the relocation of floor models and other inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager this position will supervise the delivery team and provide a full range of delivery and product relocation duties including but not limited to: Manage, coach and supervise the delivery team. Engage and provide excellent customer service. Liaise and take direction from the Delivery Coordinator in order to effectively and efficiently conduct deliveries. Ensure delivery preparation and planning in advance of delivery. Review delivery schedule and paperwork for accuracy. Ensure deliveries include any necessary equipment and is accurate. Load the delivery vehicle from a staging area using sleds, dollies, or any other necessary equipment to transport customer's product from trailer to designated area on the customer's property Secure any equipment safely and legally for up to four hours of travel, including across state lines. Explain any paper work, start-up procedures and any necessary maintenance to the customer. Advise Management of any situation during delivery that may arise as an issue. Monitor maintenance on delivery vehicles and alert Management when repairs are necessary. Deliver to residential locations and commercial locations. Ensure safety measure are observed by crewmembers during the entire delivery process. Use a forklift to load equipment for delivery as required. Conduct positive customer relations. Other related duties. Qualifications Must have a high school diploma with basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience or training and minimum of 5 (five) years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Require a valid and clean driver's license. Willingness to move heavy objects, and travel to customers. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Must have excellent delivery skills. 5. Must have some general mechanical and plumbing skills. 6. Must have strong attention to detail. 7. Must have excellent customer service skills. 8. Demonstrated organizational, and time management. 9. Ability to work as a member of a team or individually. 10. Ability to use Microsoft Office and other software systems. 11.
