Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Warehouse Flow Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Newbury Park, CA. This is a hands-on inventory leadership role supporting a high-volume clothing and textile manufacturing operation with five warehouse locations and more than 1 million units in active movement. This role is ideal for an inventory leader who thrives on the warehouse floor, understands fast-paced pick, pack, replenishment, storage, returns, transfers, and cycle count environments, and knows how to enforce inventory discipline across multiple teams. The Inventory & Warehouse Flow MGR will take ownership of inventory accuracy, warehouse flow, location control, team training, and root-cause resolution. Key Responsibilities
- Own inventory accuracy across five warehouse locations, including active pick locations, reserve, bulk, overflow, transfer, and non-pickable inventory areas.
- Lead cycle counts, physical counts, location audits, movement audits, inventory investigations, reconciliations, and root-cause analysis.
- Review inventory movement to ensure system transactions match actual physical inventory flow from receipt through storage, replenishment, picking, packing, returns, transfers, and final movement.
- Investigate discrepancies, shortages, overages, incorrect locations, missing units, unexplained adjustments, and recurring process failures.
- Train, lead, and hold the inventory team accountable for count accuracy, system transactions, location discipline, equipment use, escalation procedures, and inventory control standards.
- Partner with warehouse leadership to improve layout, reduce unnecessary touches, improve pick flow, correct behavior, and enforce inventory procedures across departments. Compensation and Benefits

- Manage inventory control across multiple warehouse locations and high-volume inventory environments.
- Lead cycle count, physical count, audit, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigation processes.
- Improve warehouse inventory flow, location control, replenishment accuracy, and movement discipline.
- Train and lead inventory teams while enforcing accountability across picking, packing, replenishment, returns, transfers, and related warehouse functions.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant inventory, warehouse, distribution, or operations experience.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouses or large warehouse operations.
- Strong background in cycle counts, physical counts, inventory reconciliation, inventory audits, movement review, and root-cause investigations.
- Experience in apparel, clothing, consumer goods, e-commerce, wholesale, retail distribution, or high-SKU warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of pick and pack operations, replenishment, storage, inventory flow, location control, and warehouse movement.
- Ability to operate or work around forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse machinery in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong WMS, Excel, reporting, and inventory analysis skills.
- Ability to walk the floor, identify process breakdowns, validate inventory locations, review movement history, and confirm that the system reflects physical reality.
- Proven ability to train staff, challenge poor processes, correct behavior, and enforce inventory standards across multiple departments.
- Strong communication, urgency, follow-through, leadership discipline, and accountability mindset. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience optimizing warehouse layout, slotting, pick flow, and inventory placement to reduce touches and improve operational efficiency.
- Background supporting high-volume returns, transfers, replenishment, and multi-facility inventory movement.
- Experience building inventory reporting, identifying repeat errors by team or process, and presenting inventory risk to leadership.
