They assist in managing and supervising warehouse personnel while implementing policies and procedures to create a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES

): Other duties may be assigned. Assist in overseeing all daily functions (kitting, pulling, packing, receiving, shipping, inventory control, training/retraining, quality). Assist in managing and guiding warehouse supervisors who oversee the various departments in the warehouse. Assist in handling any daily issues that may arise concerning processes within the job function(s). Assist in completion of yearly reviews for all warehouse supervisors and direct reports. Assist with tracking of productivity and quality numbers for employees in all function(s). Review numbers weekly with the department supervisor(s). Assure that all necessary work is being completed daily so that productivity and quality of the entire group are maintained. Assist in maintaining and evaluation of staffing levels to make sure each is in line with goals that need to be attained. Complete and maintain relevant warehouse reports to make sure they are current and resolve any outstanding issues. Participate in warehouse meetings with co-warehouse managers, and host daily, or weekly meetings with direct supervisor staff. Interview prospective employees when needed. Work hours that correspond to the hours that need the most supervision at any given time. Perform daily functions (kit, pull, pack, ship) when necessary to make sure daily goals are met. Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste. Participate in Company sponsored training and process improvement activities. Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet (Heilind/DB Roberts) Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement. Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to use electronic devices such as barcode scanners for material pulling and material put away. Basic computer skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Problem solver Team Player Good organizational and time-management skills. Attention to Detail Adaptability Dependability EDUCATION andEXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent. At least two years of supervisor experience in a warehouse setting preferred. Proficient in basic math skills. Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel).Requirements:

Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings. Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.WORKING CONDITIONS
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is exposed to large moving equipment, including motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, lift trucks, and conveyor belts.
