In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, logistics coordination, process improvement initiatives, and team supervision. Your leadership will ensure that our supply chain functions seamlessly, efficiently, and safely, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and warehouse distribution activities. Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to optimize workflow and reduce waste. Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination through transportation management systems (TMS) to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. Oversee procurement, purchasing, and materials management processes to maintain optimal inventory levels and supply chain flow. Utilize ERP systems such as odoo or similar platforms for accurate data entry, inventory control, demand planning, and supply chain analytics. Monitor profit & loss statements related to warehouse operations; manage budgeting activities to maximize efficiency while controlling costs. Supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors, dispatchers, operators, and other team members; foster a safe, productive work environment. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), freight carriers, and fleet management teams to streamline transportation activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. Oversee shipping & receiving processes ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of quality control. Drive process standardization using tools like Lean methodology to improve warehouse workflows and reduce cycle times. Implement supply chain best practices for inventory management, procurement, production planning, and dispatching to support overall business objectives. Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency gains, or service improvements; report findings to senior management. Skills Proven experience in warehouse supervision with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms like Odoo or similar. Expertise in supply chain management—including inventory control, demand planning, procurement, logistics coordination, and freight management. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), 3PL operations, NVOCC procedures, fleet management, and dispatching. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Skilled in budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost control within a warehouse environment. Excellent leadership skills with supervising experience in fast-paced distribution settings; capable of motivating teams toward shared goals. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards; ability to conduct safety audits and enforce compliance protocols effectively. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like odoo or equivalent for data accuracy and reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage supply chain analytics for decision-making insights. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures including freight handling, order fulfillment accuracy, dispatching coordination, and materials management. Ability to plan transportation routes efficiently using transportation planning tools; skilled in demand forecasting for production planning purposes.
